Tracey will be concurrently exhibiting in the Venice Biennale Fringe at The Fall of The Rebel Angels - Castello 1610/A, Riva Dei Sette Martiri, Venice with the Private Views in Venice and Castlefield Gallery, Manchester happening simultaneously - the same work is shown in each:

Lynch Mob - Fall of The Rebel Angel

The work focuses on Zapatista Sub Commondante Marcos. Tracey went to find him with the intension of leading in his march in Tuxtapec - Mexico 2006 when the Zapatistas began the 'Other Campaign' based on the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle. Achieving this she became involved in the debate on the theme evolving from the March based on the rights and unionisation of Sex Workers.

'Lynch Mob - Fall of the Rebel Angel' forms part of a series of tea parties Tracey is working on internationally which started with her first tea party art-action in Boston USA "reclaiming the tea party" on the exact spot where the initial treaty was first signed. The work exhibited in Manchester and Venice takes the form of a table cloth in the initial design stages where exhibition participants and gallery visitors are invited to contribute their thoughts on this theme of Union Rights for Sex Workers internationally by illustration or a few words to developing the design process in turn initiating a future tea party debate on the subject.
